Still MCP is GOOD ! Self learning is the way !

Well Guys I started to study on the MCP ( Microsoft Certified Professional) Exam. I know.. I know… Microsoft is bla bla “BAD”. Well do you think so? I don’t. After all we have to know who dominates PC WORLD. Its dam Microsoft. Sure I don’t want to raise the ” WHAT IS THE BEST OS” Question. Anyhow still in the arena of software development .NET has some real saying. I have worked in Virtusa. I know how useful .NET knowladge is. After all I recently heard that IFS is moving to C# from that Alien language called CENTURA. Thats nice.

One way or the other I want to be a “Webby”. Ofcause nobody than a webby in the parth of web development is my future. Web is in my blood. I learnt PHP with out a single teacher. Well Now its ASP.net. Yet this time also no teacher. So going to be dam hard work!

Are you afraid to learn a language with out a teacher ?

  • Well I definitely can’t afford to pay MOC (Microsoft Official Course) paying Rs.50,000.. So classes are unnecessary.
  • By the way Programming really can’t be taught.Programming has to be self learned and practiced.
  • I can remember how I started PHP scripting. I know, in any word PHP is not a difficult language to learn. But can you believe, me and my friend nuwan had created a MIDICAL software from PHP ( and its a live one which even runs in Joseph Frazer). Believe me we both counted on PHP from ZERO.
  • Only thing is we need to have the programing basics , Thats what I taught nuwan and hamza ( My first ever PHP students). There after its self learning and testing.
  • So never be scared to learn a programming language with out a teacher. It can be done.

When you are trying to work on MCP try to download some Exam stimulator’s. Good one is learn key. Then you have to follow the MOC book. Both these resources are not free. But I’ll give you a hint . Try eMule (P 2 P Software) You will find them.

Hi, thanks for creating another SL blog aggreator. it’s great to have another site. There used to be one in addition to Kottu sometime back (Moju I think) but it vanished. Hope SLBlogs becomes like Kottu :)

btw I would like to join you but I have a problem. You syndicate the whole blog post. Won’t Google and search engines regard it as dublicate content and you and the blogger both loose by that? What do you think?

Apex I know you well , and do read your blog often he he.. Well for your Q… Yep, I do syndicate your whole post. There won’t Be any duplication issue since I only syndicate the post after 1 hour of your origin.. And all the links are to you. Basically your the origin. slBlogs or any syndicator Won’t get lot of Search engine traffic cos posts are not original. But readership built on loyalty.

Next apex I did a thorough research on this duplication issue. I felt its safe and thats why took the steps. Please search on this. Ok. You will know duplication theory is just a myth. In fact page rank and few cashed indicators which makes the search engine exporcure.

Well Apex if you or any one need to syndicate the half post ( this is called RSS1 syndication ) I will be glad to do it. He he.. Well only thing is, I thought readers miss a lot not seeing whats inside. If we don’t do a good header readers just vanish. So far my theory worked well. Hmm… :)

Finally for your full posts I’m personally applying Traffic optimization techniques. I know I’m just a beginner of this. But so far it has worked well. Dam if I had some more time we could do more.

Nice to say our site got to 400,000 position now in alexa ranking. Well Kottu is 8 laks margin.

Anyhow I’m proud to have you here Apex. By the way you can Join the Win A Blog contest too .. Did you look at it ?

Yeah exactly, still I remember ma early days learnig PHP with you. Think you are a good lecturer as well. Must be still doin lectures with your new white board which you been dreaming for years. Just kidding..! I think you gave me the basics Neat n Clean thats the success behind you teaching I gues. I have always found you to be good self learner which honestly I’m not that an expert, I can only learn things on ma own when the situation demands me.. That’s why I always say, “Innovation on Demand”. Neway thanks alot for your coments on me Geek.
