Hmmm ok , I’ll take this oppertunity and write this post as an example which I was afraid to put out for a long time ,

I miss KOTTU creator, the great “ INDI” in slBlogs.org

Kottu being the best of Sri lankan Blog aggregators I would like to give my honors to it. I don’t know how these guys got this idea, but to me it was an astonishing one. Same idea was to extend and I created slBlogs.org. In no means I want to compete with Kottu or the great achcharu (I’m always impressed about this sites development), but I love that concept of syndication. May be I can help more.

I was thinking, when will we have a “.COM BOOM” or a “ONLINE UPRISE” in Sri lanka. I know we have the most renowned developers here. But, why are we so low in online business or web market. I just can’t believe this. I feel indi , the Kottu creator made the first step. He has created the buzz to unite all the bloggers around Sri lanka. I don’t know whether you guys felt this, but a key point of a moving web market is having moving Blogs. Indi has done it. Guys like us have to add more frequency to the BUZZ . May be in a near future we will see the “.COM BOOM” in SL.

I particularly like his blogging style, the sarcasm which really open up our eyes. May be his Page Rank of Six made me more interested. To be honest, it was the only Sri lankan blog I have ever seen a PR6. However the recent page rank update has made the rank bit down. I particularly feel he has a great lust for blogging. Like the “ Great Cerno” ( another SL Blogger I would love to see in slblogs.org), these guys never forget to blog. Thats why I call these fellows professional bloggers. May be the handful we have in SL.

Sometimes I feel Indi got the habit of blogging simply because he was in US for a while. Think about that culture. How these minds adopt to web. Why are we in SL don’t see this. I’m a strong believer that one way of Sri lanka being a developed nation is having successful online presence. Think why cant we develop something like eBay.com , or a Amazon. I have worked in Virtusa and I personally know most of the modules of the famous IBM WEBSPHERE is either developed or maintained by bunch of Sri Lankans in Virtusa. I think WEB SPHERE overall income is more that our National income. he he..

I want a give a big clap to Indi for his work . I would love to invite him to slBlogs.org. Hey if you don’t mind join us. Sorry, I took so long to invite you.

Okidoky, your favorite blogger might be your best friend or even your mom , well I don’t mind he he.. In fact it is great. Give your reasons why you think he or she is good. Anyhow should be a SRI LANKAN BLOGGER.
